Invite a Friend to Church this Sunday!

Church is the people we meet and not the building. It is very essential for a new believer to be connected to the body of Christ which is the church. In here, we will see the whole spiritual family and this is the big picture. This will help the new believer to grow in his/her Christian life and in his/her relationship with the Lord and with the people. He will not just be confined to himself/herself as an attender because there are people that will watch and guide his/her development from a cell member, into a cell leader, then a G12 leader and finally to a network leader.

Below are a few tips that will help you INVITE A FRIEND TO CHURCH THIS SUNDAY:

  • Be purposeful! Don’t just randomly invite cards everywhere you go. Invitations are most meaningful and most accepted within a relationship. That’s why we stress INVEST and INVITE!
  • Be specific! It rarely works to say “come to church with me sometime.” However, it usually works if you say “come to church with me this Sunday at 10AM. I’ll meet you in the lobby and we can grab an early lunch afterwards. How does that sound?”
  • Be excited! Nothing convinces like excitement. When you’re excited about your church, others will want to come with you. Be an expert! You don’t have to know everything about your church, but you should know the most important details like service times andpreschoolers and kids programming details.
  • Be authentic! Inviting to church isn’t about a spiritual duty or increasing church attendance. It’s about sharing Jesus with people that you know and love. Share with them the impact your church and your relationship with Jesus have had in your life.
  • Be present! It’s hard to invite a friend to church this Sunday if you don’t attend church this Sunday yourself. Prioritizing your own church attendance will make it easier to invite others to attend. Be persistent! Keep on inviting. Don’t give up when they say no or cancel at the last minute. Just go back to the top of this list and start all over again. In the end, your friends will thank you for it!

This is a celebration for everyone held every Sunday. Everybody is invited and included here because this is an avenue for people to know and accept God in their lives. In this service, giving thanks, praise and worship to the Lord is done as an honor to Him.

There are other different services in the church that will cater each need of a person or crowd.

  • WildSONs – WildSONs is the youth gathering of Seeds of the Nations or SONs - the youth ministry of Doulos for Christ. This is designed for youth and students because in this gathering, the vigor of being a youth is being lined to God’s design for them. Being wild for God means being revolutionaries which are willing and radical to transform this nation by winning the campus students to the Lord. As seeds of the nation, we should be planted on the right soil and WildSONs provides learning and changing experiences that will make us rooted to the right foundation as individuals that will change our campus and eventually our nation.
  • Crossover – This is a gathering designed for male and female professionals, working people and graduate students who are yet searching for jobs. This summit instills to the individual that we can make a distinction to the marketplace by bringing the professionals to come to know God as they reach their dream in their lives. As working people, we are not just bound to chase our dreams and success through working hard but through chasing/seeking God so that He will be the one to give the prosperity to us.
  • J12 Service – This is made for children until 12 years of age. Jesus came to know the church and serve the church when He was 12 years of age. This is how the J12 (Jesus at 12) Vision started. (Luke 2:41-49) In this gathering, activities, praise and worship and word of God are being taught to children in a fun way. It’s great that children are in their  Father’s house as young as they are so that they will create a great impact to the Body of Christ!!
  • Couples’ Service – This is prepared for married couples, single parents and couples who are engaged and are planning to have their own family so that they will be founded in the right love and this is the love of God. In this service, the right meaning of relationship and family is imparted so that the next generation will be conceived and raised in the right atmosphere.
