The Encounter is a powerful weekend of experiencing the Cross. It is designed so that each believer comes face to face with Jesus and gets the Revelation of the Cross. It is also the key component in the “Consolidation” step in the G12 Vision.
In these DVDs you will find all of the information that you need to train your leaders in conducting the Encounter. It is imperative that you personally attend an Encounter as a participant before you attempt to lead an Encounter. These materials are designed to help you to train your team to lead the Encounter, but are not intended to take the place of you attending the Encounter.
Although many “retreats” use the name, “Encounter”, what you will see on these DVDs is the Encounter as conducted in Bogota, Colombia. I personally learned the Encounter from Pastor Ricardo Santiago, one of the primary 12 of Pastor Cesar Castellanos. I also assisted in conducting an Encounter with one of the 12 of Pastor Castellanos. these materials are from the “source”. They are authentic. We have not modified the schedule or the teachings.
All of the teaching and ministry on these DVDs were from Encounters conducted at Generations Church in Yuma, Arizona. The teachers are from my G12 and the G12 of my wife, Melissa. We did not put together a “Dream Team” of pastors to preach on the DVDs. We used our G12, ordinary people who have full-time jobs, in order to show the possibilities of the 12 that God gives you!
